So you grab neutral provinces and raise armies, plunder treasures, and engage in combat.The rules of the game are simple enough and you sure master them in a minute. Mastering the game, liberating all islands, and winning the Big Campaign will take a LOT longer.The rich enemy homelands field huge armies and by force alone you will not win much.
